PRE-PRODUCTION

Synopsis: In the 1920's, a championship boxer takes a beautiful Hollywood actress to Egypt for their honeymoon. With an archeologist as their tour guide and help from a few locals they set off on their adventure. Things go awry when an ancient artifact is stolen from a mummies tomb.

Much like our previous short film "Atomic Zombies" Take me To Egypt is a period piece, shot as if it were a lost film of its time. It's a silent film presented as a screwball/slapstick comedy where everyone and everything is always in motion.

Think Charlie Chaplin meets the Three Stooges. Mix in a little Universal Mummy.

Add a pinch of ancient aliens and hit puree.

Filming will take place in Lincoln Nebraska over the course of five days. See below for tentative schedule.

We're excited to work with some returning cast members from "Atomic Zombies" as well as a few new additions to the team. Going from 30+ cast members to a slim 7 is going to be a real game changer. Looking forward to the shoot!
